Storybook Album Example - Kelowna Wedding Photographers

Here are some images of Melissa & Dayton's storybook wedding album. For this album the couple went with the 11"x13", 50 pages, with a black leather cover and a custom name stamp. The quality of these albums is just top notch and we hope they will cherish it for generations!

Melissa & Dayton - Trash the Dress

We photographed Melissa & Dayton's Trash the Dress session right after all the formal portraits were finished on their wedding day. We found a great location hidden in the middle of Waterfront Park that really suited the couple (thought the original idea of a water fight would have been awesome as well!). As we were walking back to the limo the bride and groom spontaneously dared each other to take a dip into the dolphin's fountain. Good thing they had a change of clothes for their dinner that night!

Melissa & Dayton - Kelowna Wedding

It was a beautiful summer day for an outdoor wedding at Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna. The wedding party consisted of Melissa’s two daughters and Dayton’s two daughters so this ceremony not only united Melissa & Dayton but was also the union of two families into one.

The bride recently got a tattoo of a butterfly on her foot in memory of her brother. She wanted him to be a part of her day so there were little touches added throughout: butterfly headbands for the bridesmaids, butterfly name plates, and her shoes showed it off the tattoo beautifully.

After the ceremony we photographed the wedding party around the winery before heading inside to a luncheon Reception. The food was catered by Summerhill and was a really great all organic meal, especially the merlot infused caesar salad!

We headed out with just the bride and groom to do the couple portraits to a great location we had scouted out a few weeks before that gave an awesome view of the valley. Then we headed down to Waterfront Park for some more along the boardwalk.

After all the formal portraits were done we went straight into a trash the dress session. It deserves it’s very own blog post so stay tuned!

Rachel & Julius - Vancouver Wedding

A few weeks ago we headed down to Vancouver to photograph the wedding of our good friends Rachel & Julius. The wedding and reception were both held in their friend's wonderful house and backyard. For the bride and groom portraits we headed up to Queen Elizabeth Park prior to the ceremony and were blessed with awesome weather (especially for Vancouver!). Friends and family traveled from all corners of North America to share this special day, and many of their friends played a part in making this wedding as special as it was (credits are listed after the photos). You can really get great insight into the quality of a couple's character by looking at the guests attending their wedding, and wow we could really see the love that their guests had for them!
